The amount of CARBOMETUM® required depends on the proportion of cement in the mix and is added on the basis of 1% of the cement being used.

CARBOMETUM® standard 
in Paper bags of 3 kg / 500 g can be stored in dry conditions for at least 3 years

CARBOMETUM® light
in Zipper bag of 50 g can be stored airtight for at least 3 years

Preparation

Concrete: The preparation of bio-concrete using CARBOMETUM® standard is usually carried out at the concrete mixing plant. But when done in the transport vehicle a mixing time of 3 minutes per 1m³ concrete must be applied. The manufacturing is the same as with conventional concrete.

Cementous floor screed: 500 g of additive per 50 kg of cement are added for the making of cement screed with CARBOMETUM®. The manufacturing is the same as with conventional cement screed.

Render: For the making of render with CARBOMETUM® the additive is mixed either on site or in the factory. The manufacturing is the same as with conventional render.
